Mossy Explorer is a project that we introduced back in 2014 to allow children to demonstrate our values while working on their personal development. This proved a huge success; therefore, we relaunched this project again at the beginning of this academic year, with the aim of promoting personal development so that our children have the opportunity to grow into the best people that they can possibly be.
How does it work?
Each term, children will be set new Mossy Explorer Challenges - these can be found on your child's class page. Children should bring this work in to their teacher each week, where it will be stored in a folder. At the end of each term, children will have the opportunity to collect together and reflect upon the work that they have completed on a Mossy Explorer Day, where they will gather together some of their biggest successes in their Mossy Explorer Knowledge Organiser.
At the end of each term, if your child has brought in the work requested of them, they will receive a Mossy Explorer Badge. Collecting the whole set throughout the year is a sign of real personal success!
